Financial Support

Financial support comes from higher judicatories of the following mainline denominations: the Cleveland Baptist Association and American Baptist Churches in Ohio, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Episcopal Churches of the Diocese of Ohio, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ, and the United Methodist Church. We also receive funds from an Ohio consortium of churches which can only be used for programming at state-assisted colleges and universities. Local congregations of the denominations named also support UPCaM. Donations are received from more than one hundred individuals and we have one fund raising event annually- a November dinner-silent auction.

UPCaM inherited a modest endowment fund of approximately $50,000 from its predecessor organization, most of which had been donated at the retirement of the long time founding director, the Reverend Robert Clarke. A successful three year campaign to raise the endowment will be concluded on June 30, 2009. By the end of 2009 the value of the endowment should be almost $200,000.
